Kate Barron-Alicante(she/her)

Kate Barron-Alicante, CFP® is Director of Impact and financial advisor at Abacus Wealth Partners, a founding B Corp. Kate serves on the boards of Taproot Earth, a global climate justice organization, and the Francesco Collaborative, a spirituality and economic systems change organization. She previously served as a member of the Abacus Board of Directors. Along with her clients, Kate shares a passion for leveraging money for climate and racial justice in this moment in history. Prior to entering finance, she spent 15 years in social justice & social change work in nonprofits and academia. Kate was a recent fellow of the Just Economy Institute. She is a Certified Financial Planner and holds an MsC in International Development from the School of Oriental & African Studies, University of London and a BA in International Relations from Boston University.
